I started my business out of a genuine passion for creating beauty with my hands. Growing up, I often assisted my parents in crafting small decor items and fixing various things around the house. I always had my own set of tools, which made this venture feel like a natural progression for me.

After earning my bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama, I moved to Florida to pursue and receive my Master's degree in Criminology. Unexpectedly, this transition sparked my desire to build and restore furniture. This passion led to the founding of Key Avant Furnishings in June 2020. I thoroughly enjoy spending time in my garage, crafting stunning pieces that showcase the potential of my own two hands. I feel that this journey has been divinely guided.
